Becoming a member of Connections is a great way to "get connected" to the Richland County community. Meet old and new friends while participating in grantmaking to local non-profit organizations.
What is Connections? Connections is a vibrant group of young professionals, community leaders, and citizens with a desire to foster community involvement and charitable giving.
What does Connections offer? Grant making & an annual Winter Gala where grants are awarded to non-profit organizations in Richland County.
What have they done? Over $53,000 in grants have been awarded to educational programs and projects benefiting youth at many local public charities, including: Friendly House, Astronomy for Youth, Kids Connection of Ohio, Camp Mowana, Renaissance Performing Arts, Mohican School in the Out-of-Doors, Ohio Bird Sanctuary, and many area schools. In addition recent grants supporting economic development have been awareded to SCORE, Pioneer Career and Technolgy, Downtown Mansfield, and the Mansfield/Richland County Public Library.
