Donor Establishes a Fund to Honor Mary Ann Nore
The Mary Ann Nore Donor Advised Fund was established by an anonymous donor as a way to honor Mary Ann Nore.
Mary Ann tragically died in a car accident in June of 2017.
The first grant made from the fund went to the Heartland Academy in Lexington for supplies. Heartland Academy opened this school year to provide education and therapies for children on the Autism Spectrum.
Mary Ann retired after 30 years as the Deputy Director of the Richland County Child Support Enforcement Agency. Mary Ann was past president of the Eastern Regional Interstate Child Support Association and a member of the Ohio Family Support Association and the National Child Support Enforcement Association. She served on many local boards and was past president of the Mansfield Area Y Board, served on the City of Mansfield Fair Housing Commission and worked on the United Way NAPAC Committee.
Her favorite place was Lake Erie where she “competitively collected” sea glass. She loved to be on the water and traveled to many countries throughout her life.
Anyone can donate to the Mary Ann Nore Donor Advised Fund through richlandcountyfoundation.org or by check written to the Richland County Foundation, note the fund name on the memo line.
