How your business can be a part of Richland Gives
Just 88 days until Richland Gives.
Richland Gives, an online day of giving, is set for December 1, 2015. It is designed to encourage everyone to contribute to local nonprofits through a single giving platform/website. The Richland County Foundation will host the day to build capacity, grow philanthropy and make the community stronger.
Any nonprofit in Richland County that registers at richlandgives.org can participate. So far 40 nonprofits have registered.
Before that day comes, I want to make sure there's a reserve to incentivize nonprofit organizations to participate at a high level.
Prize grants will be awarded to nonprofit organizations that engage the most unique donors and those that raise the most money during certain hours throughout the day.
So I am looking for business owners to sponsor Richland Gives.

Sponsorship levels
Giving Day Sponsor
With a sponsorship of $5,000 or more to Richland Gives, your logo will be placed on the Richland Gives landing page and in all Richland Gives media. Your money will be combined with donations from other corporate sponsors to provide challenge grants to local charitable organizations who are at the top of leader board competitions.
- Nonprofit organizations with budgets under $250,000 that get the most donors.
- Nonprofits organizations with budgets between $250,000 and $750,000 that get the most donors.
- Nonprofits organizations with budgets over $750,000 that get the most donors.
Outreach Sponsor
With a sponsorship of $2,500 or more to Richland Gives, your logo will be placed on the Richland Gives landing page. Your money will be combined with donations from other corporate sponsors to provide challenge grants to local charitable organizations.
Matching Partner
Your corporation agrees to match your employees’ donations up to a pre-determined amount. If you agree to match up to $1,000 or more, your corporate logo will be placed on the Richland Gives landing page. Your money will be combined with sponsorships from other companies to provide challenge grants to local charitable organizations.
Affiliate Partner
Your corporation agrees to provide information about Richland Gives to all employees and to encourage employee participation on December 1, 2015. It is up to your organization to determine how best to create enthusiasm and the spirit of giving within your own company.
