Honor someone special for Mother's Day
The Women’s Fund of the Richland County Foundation is offering people a way to honor special women in their lives with a Mother’s Day gift to benefit women and girls in this community.
Donors can make an honor or memorial gift to the Women’s Fund. Donations will support the funds' grant-making. An acknowledgement card will be mailed to the honoree(s) before Mother's Day if the gift is made gift by April 30.
“The Mother’s Day campaign is a chance for individuals to honor a loved one by supporting causes that improve the lives of women and girls. Parenting is the focus of the grants awarded this year by the Women’s Fund,” said Carolyn Carto, Women’s Fund Advisory Board chair.
The Women’s Fund was formed in 1996 to promote philanthropy among women to provide funding to programs and projects that empower women and girls to achieve their full potential.
Since its inception the Women’s Fund has awarded 157 grants totaling over $264,000. To make a Mother’s Day gift to the Women’s Fund go to the Women's Fund page on the website or call 419-525-3020.
